50 Screws for 3.5" NAS trays, made of sheet metal. Drive Trays that need very small heads (that screw in from the bottom or sides) A lot of the modern NAS boxes use sheet metal trays that need the small head short screws Examples are all of the QNAP boxes. These screws are 6-32 that 3.5" drives require and they have a smaller head that allow them to be used in the thin sheet metal trays without the head sticking out. Took me 2 years to find these. I buy them 25,000 at a time so that I have plenty in stock, shipping quickly from central Virginia Instead of 1/4" (0.25") diameter heads, these are approx. 3/16" (0.204 measured) They are also a bit shorter as they measure 0.193 long instead of the 0.25" that most 3.5" drives use This item will be carefully wrapped in packaging for shipping. It has a full 30 day return period. If not satisfied, please email for a RMA to return for a full refund, less shipping fees. We are now shipping 6 days a week, and will ship out within 24 hours of receiving your instant payment!

50 Screws for many 3.5" Hot Swap Drive Trays that need low profile heads (that generally screw in from the sides) These are not quite thin enough for the Supermicro sheet metal trays or others that put in screws from the bottom. If you need screws for the Supermicro trays, I now have them here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380715140994 The screws for QNAP trays are also very small heads like Supermicro. They are here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380960421205 If you are using 3.5" harddrives, they will need 6-32 screws. Most of the time they need 1/4" long screws Most of the caddys can use a standard flathead screw like this alternate auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380414549267&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Some of the caddys are now made of sheet metal (instead of a casting) which need a lower profile head (since the sheetmetal is so thin). This auction is for the low profile flathead screws which are 'undercut' This means that material has been removed where the cone meets the thread so that more of the shaft is threaded (which makes the head thinner as shown in the second photo). This type of screw will also work in place of the normal flathead screw, however, its just more expensive. If you need lots of screws and cost is more important, try the traditional flathead style first and return them for these if they don't work My other auction for normal flathead screws is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380414549267&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT 1000 in stock for immediate shipment !
